While this reincarnation of the Monte Carlo SS from the 70s earned a tidal wave of consumer appreciation and enthusiasm back in its heyday, the entire nameplate was retired in 2007. But to the near-muscle-car driver of the mid-80s, the Monte Carlo still looks like home sweet home.
